For this project I was tasked with making a set of fake newspaper ads (3) in black and white for a musician of my choice.
I chose Earl Sweatshirt as mine, but because the ad sizes were so small I spent most of my time figuring out where I was going to place the required information, (Artist, Date, Time, Place, and admission).
To make the three ads cohesive I placed a form fitting star that connects all three ads, but individually the lines of the star outlines Earl. In order to not compete with any of the text or other graphics, I chose to do a grey background with a grainy texture.
